This isn't really a screenshot for CCE's engine, but a new map that I hope will be included in the official and final release:

Video of Pain Screen Throb tests
I was hunting raptors, but was surprised by a yeti. Excuse the messed up raptor eat offset. I'll fix that when I polish everything up.
In case your wondering, this is not using seis's packing. Its using my own temporary one until I get seis' finished code
Video:

Its kinda messed up online. Download and play it if you can.

Yeah, that's why I said you gotta download it
It actually pulses red. The less health you have, the more blinding the red.
BTW, when will your map be up for download ?

Re: CCE Screenshot/Video thread
As soon as I add the final touches (Water needs to be adjusted I'm afraid) and if I can get a convertor going for the C1O format to the C2O format because C1O does not have billboards in them and basmachee rocks is lagging in certain areas unless your Draw distance is rather low (around the same as C1 which is no fun at all)

Re: CCE Screenshot/Video thread
You could manually create the billboard images (yikes!). So you've got the c1 to c2 map conversion covered?

Re: CCE Screenshot/Video thread
Is this a little better?
Or is the fog distance too close?
There are actually two parts to this mode: the fog distance and the fog overlay, which is simply a semi-transparent gray square in front of the camera. I lowered the density of the gray color.

Re: CCE Screenshot/Video thread
Well with real fog you can see everything clearly for, give or take 5 meters. The compass, map, and gun should not be foggy. The fog distance may be a little too close as well.

Re: CCE Screenshot/Video thread
If you guys saw some of the fog I've been getting lately, you'd all shreik! This stuff basically comes up to your elbow. But the compass/wind direction shouldn't be foggy, perhaps exclude it from the fog.
Also... I see you adopted my cross hair method XD

Re: CCE Screenshot/Video thread
I got the idea driving home the other day in some extreme fog lol

But yeah I'll:
1. Make the fog not affect the compasses, gun, map, etc.
2. Perhaps make it editable in a file.
5 values control fog:
ViewRange (normally at least 60, but set to 18 to 25 for fog. This is how far you can actually see)
Dawn Fog depth (set to about 160)
Day Fog depth (about 180)
Night Fog depth (about 80. Too much and you can't see anything)
Fog base color (rgb value, use paint to find a good one. Usually R-192,G-192,B-192 I think)
It would be better if I could figure out how to use the current fog system to modify the depth of the fog....
Yeah I used your crosshair method rex lol it was much better and works fine.
- EDIT -
How's this?
- EDIT -
Dino's positioned in the trophy room

^^^^ That is AWESOME! Not too sure on the fog yet though. Can you take a shot of the fog from on top of a hill?
