Modelling contest - March

The April contests are now beginning

In this contest we are looking for model entries for either scenery or creatures (or even weapons)

This contest ends at the end of march GMT +10

Rules:
-No pornographic submissions
-Nothing offensive to religions or groups of individuals (nothing deliberately or serious, some humour is allowed:))
-Must have over 40 triangles but less than 1024 (same with verticies, they must be under 1024)
-Have fun!

Prize:
A beta/alpha version of CAdit/C3Dit or the new engine if it's ready.

pretty good for an edit of the HUNTER.CAR file actually... i might download it and animate a copy for C2

yeah, it was easier than i thought, cuz the shotgun was modeled unatatched, so i could easily disconnect it. man, after using the spore editor, its so hard to go back to anim8or! BTW the DB shotgun (s)he orginall had i changed to a standard shotgun, you know, to change it up

Actually, if I can eventually get the animation editing working (I'm sooooo close!) I could probably test out my Hunter NPC AI basically it has hunters on maps (random of course) and you can meet up with them, if you shoot at them and hit them then they attack back, etc. They also share ammo if you give them some credits muahahahaha!

Lovely work Raptorkiller2. Oh um My computer has been infested with a nasty conficker virus and it is a pain in the ass to get rid of. As a result, I've had to put any and all work aside. Including my Sonic the Hedgehog hack and my Mount Hell 2.0 mod.

that's strange.... While typing this all the slowdown seems to have just vanished. Weird. I think McAfee Antivirus is working finally. I hope that's the case. Oh if you need that report thingy that Dinoguy1000 wants for the file formats I'll type it as long as I'm provided with the info. I'll professionalize the work if you haven't already finished it.

X-Cult

What is X-Cult? Well it is mainly a video game prototype research site. They currently have started what looks like a very sloppy wiki. However I would like to say that you must be a member of Sonic-Cult's (the parent site to X-Cult) forums and becoming a member does not come easy. I'm serious. The site filters out any free E-Mail accounts to prevent bad people from entering. Another thing is you will most likely be hazed by the Sonic-Cult members. Oh and I would also like to say that Sonic-Cult forums is a free for all forum. (Well almost.) Since the site runs off of its own server people are allowed to post porn in the forums.

Despite all these drawbacks to the site, X-Cult and Sonic Cult are very informational. In fact Pachuka (who now calls himself Phoguls.) has sort of lightened up a little so who knows if the forum rules and polices have lightened up too. This is probably the wrong place for most of this information but I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone.

Believe it or not, we actually do have some leftover prototype data. The Poacher.car file happens to be one such thing. Another thing would be bits of random and unused strings of source for incomplete or lost features. (And I'm very well sure you've come across some while programming CCE.) Then there are the unused source command strings machf found in Carnivores 1 as well. (which aren't very many at all.) Then there is that one scan of an advertisement of Carnivores 2 that mentions the lost multi-player mode. (found in the scans and reviews section on the Saga.)
