Rules -- Read this first!

Basic conduct rules are the same as the forum-- no heavy swearing, no flaming, try to keep arguing and bickering to a minimum, etc...

RPG Rules:

1-- No god-modding! You can't have a super character. Deal with it. Everyone has weaknesses and won't win every fight.
2-- No ghosting, or controlling another player's character without that players permission.
3-- Do not cause fatal damage and/or kill another players character without their consent (Exception is mods and admins against human characters).
4-- Do not use emoticons in in-character posts.
5-- Do not use slang or improper grammer (Exception for human speech) in in-character posts
6-- Try to use good punctuation and proper spelling when writing your posts
7-- Posts should be at least 3 sentences. 5-10 is considered optimal posting.

Intro:

This RPG is based directly off of the Carnivores Universe, in that it takes place entirely on FMM-UV and is free-roaming. In it, you will play as either a human (Limited to 3 humans at once) on the island, on a long-term hunt, or you can play as a free-roaming dinosaur on the island. There are several species to choose from, listed below. On the island, your character will interact with both NPC and PC dinosaurs and humans. If you choose to play as a human, your character will be placed on the island by DinoHunt Corp. for a few days in-game. From here, your character will explore the island and possibly hunt his or her target dinosaur (Note that it takes a LOT of ammunition to bring down a dinosaur, so you should choose when to shoot carefully ). Note that human characters can be killed by moderators and admins without your consent, so tread carefully. Dinosaurs, on the other hand, will simply roam the island, living out their lives there and, usually, raising a family.

Character creation rules:

There are limits on the island for how many dinosaurs it can support, so each player can only take two dinosaur characters, one herbivore, and one carnivore, or just one human (If available). However, you may also choose to create NPC's to use and RP as well.

For backstories, they should be consistent and sensical. For interspecies parenting, it should be kept realistic (i.e. A Velociraptor(m) isn't going to nurture a baby Apatosaur).

You may also choose to give your character a family to start with, which should be posted in their biography.
