HELP!!???!!!! Empty HELP!!???!!!!

sso for christmas i got a new computer with a I7 proccessor 6 gigs of RAM a raedon HD 4870 graphics card and 1.7 terabytes of ram! the ultimate machine right? it has vista!!!!! Sad Crying or Very sad scratch carnivores CCE crashes! help!!!!

ps the old carnivores runs in software, but in d3d, it bugs out
