Yeah, RK2 is good at this! Once skeletal animations work, these will def be tried out!

Re: New Models
Hmm, is the Compy the same size as the Raptor mesh? You may need to scale them down because Carnivores doesn't automatically scale stuff down... Unless you add the Scale0 to the _RES but we should avoid setting the Scale0 at the best of times.

all these models are mis-sized. and backwards. so i will need to fix that, but you need to do the rest

Re: New Models
Of course, and they will star in-game as soon as the engine supports Skeletal animations or if I manage to work out that Divisor crap for the current animations.

Re: New Models
Well I was going to make a command prompt tool that does all the math for you aslong as the mesh still has the same amount of verticies and triangles as the original mesh. It would then fix the animations to portray the 'new' dinosaur.

Re: New Models
sure, but thats taking too long (no offence, i know your doing your best) if all the animations are is set coorinates, couldnt i just set up a doc for you with all the coords like this:
Anim1{
Frame1{
(2,3,2) etc
}
Frame2{
fjadflkj
}
}
Anim1{
Frame1{
(2,3,2) etc
}
Frame2{
fjadflkj
}
}

Re: New Models
That's the problem, they are not just co-ordinates or the .CAR's would be almost 2 times bigger.
They use a set of short data types, which I think are 2 bytes. And a Divisor for each animation. The Game then calculates the animation co-ords from the floating point XYZ of each verticie by dividing the SHORT with the DIVISOR like so:
short(divided by the Divisor)float[x/y/z] = new co-ord

Re: New Models
weel thats a pain
well i could try to make some animation-less objects, you can add an C1o/c2o extractor

yeah theyre the tiny ones from jurassic park 2. maybe they could alternately be troodons. anyway, im workin on a couple more models, namely Therizinosaurus, a carnivorous and more realistic dimetrodon, and an allosaurus that looks like a real allosaurus eg:

The head looks good now... The arms look too long now though. Although, I'm comparing to the walking with dinosaurs pic you posted.
