Re: New Models
You need to beef the torso up, and shorten the arms, dino arms are never longer than their thighs.

Re: New Models
Hmmm. That looks kinda odd. You should try to make it look like the green dragon in Rexhunter's signature. Or take a look at a bunch of pictures and find one that looks awesome.
The dragon you made looks like a lizard with model airplane wings glued on its back... Hehe,
Keep trying, you'll get it

Re: New Models
thanks for the comments! wings are sooooo hard to do, i might end up using another exiting model for the wings, maybe the pteranodons wings. but splicing models is probably the trickiest thing to do right. oh well, hows the body at least (brachi with allo legs/head)?

Re: New Models
I think the dragon looks really good, but Zirgon is right with the wings, they need to be changed a bit. Minus that, it looks good. Can't wait until we are able to try out these models.

Re: New Models
You should shorten the neck <--(Make it average size) Shorten and widen the head. Give it nostril ridges. give it a bigger lower jaw, beef up the body neck and tail. And make the tail a bit longer
Try to get the wings to look like this
And try to get the head like this (Horns and all)

Re: New Models
Yeah I know. LoL... And I also understand how hard it is to make models. I guess I'm testing your skillswell theres a tall order!
The dragon is looking better. I extremely quickly whipped up an image of what you should do to make it look near perfect.
Basically I made the neck and tail shorter and moved the wings back a bit so they are between the front and back legs.
After you do that. Beef everything up a bit (Make it look like it has some weight to it) and it will be complete .
Great work!
p.s. Can you post a direct overhead view of it? I want to get a better view of the wingspan.
p.s.s. I would try modeling if I had a better computer but the programs I have used run extremly slow on my computer. Maybe I will just try and work with it anyways. We will see......

Re: New Models
LoL I just had another idea. There should be an alien model and should stay inside the cave guarding the entrance with the alien eggs in it :O How cool would that be? It should not be a huntable animal, Just an extra that only is on that map and stays in the cave. If you kill it you should keep the trophy and view it in the trophy room.
The hardest part would be making the model look like the real thing
What are your thoughts? Do you think that would be straying too far from dinosaurs or just a neat little extra to have in the game?

Re: New Models
Hmmm.. I think it looks weird with a long neck. And the rear end needs to be rounded a bit so it doesn't look unnatural... (If I am bothering you let me know lol, Just trying to give consructive criticism )
I would do it like this
But I see something wrong with mine as well but I can't quite put my finger on it.
We need some more peoples thoughts and perspectives I think. Dragons are hard to do. I've drawn a lot of dragons and It takes forever to make them look right. And your making a dragon model!!!
I bow down to you

Re: New Models
Yah, It looks great! The only changes I think need to be made are Move the wings back a tiny bit and fix the eye spot. And pehaps add another jaw horn at the bottom of the other two.
It is your image with an edited eye and horn. I didn't edit the wing just so you'd know how far to move it.
